Bank reconciliation, without the ticking.

Import your camt.053 statement and every line becomes a row. Matching rules tie each line to the payment it shows and each payment to the invoice it settles — by reference, amount and date, with AI to confirm — and every line works out its own status. All that's left for you is the short list of exceptions.

The challenge

Statements and invoices live in different places, and each line is ticked off by hand.

References are missing or mangled, amounts are rounded, card payments carry a merchant code instead of a name.

Unmatched lines are discovered at month-end, when they're hardest to chase.

How Filetable handles it

Bank lines matched to the invoices they pay

  1. Receive

Drop the camt.053 file — or your bank's CSV export — in the drive or on the transactions table. Lines already imported are marked before anything is written.

  2. Understand

The column mapping is proposed and previewed; each line becomes a row with its date, label, reference and amount.

  3. Connect

Rules run from strictest to loosest: same reference and amount first, then the same counterparty with amount and date within tolerance — the loosest confirmed by AI, with its score. A line reads Matched when amount, direction and currency agree with its payments, Exception when they don't.

  4. Organize

A view lists the lines still to match; a fee, an interest or a transfer between your own accounts is kept as bank only in one guided step, and a suggestion is accepted in one click.

  5. Act

Alerts email the team the new unmatched lines, the reconciliation exceptions and any statement whose lines don't add up to its balances; the reconciled period leaves as Excel or CSV for your accountant or your auditor.

What you get

Only the exceptions

Lines that match link themselves; you review what's left.

Links you can explain

Each link shows the rule and the score behind it.

No month-end surprise

Open lines are visible all month, not discovered at closing.

Frequently asked questions

Which bank formats are supported?

ISO 20022 camt.053 statements — the standard Swiss banks use — and CSV exports from any bank.

Do I have to write the matching rules?

No. Every new workspace comes with them — reference, amount and date tolerances, the loosest confirmed by AI — and every threshold can be adjusted.

Does Filetable connect to my bank account?

No. It imports the statement files your bank already gives you, and never holds credentials for your bank.
