Extract exactly what you need from every document.
Each table defines the fields it wants. Filetable's AI reads the document, fills those columns with typed values — dates, amounts, tags, relations — and creates a row for every line item.
Fields and line items in typed columns
- 1
Define the fields
Start from a template or add your own columns, each with an optional AI description of what to look for.
- 2
AI reads the document
The AI reads the text and the layout and returns every field in one pass.
- 3
Review with the source
Values land in your table as typed cells, each linked to where it was found on the page.
What you get
Filetable reads invoices, contracts, payslips and statements and fills typed columns — header fields, line items, QR-bill data — linked to the source.
Line items included
Invoice lines, payslip elements, statement lines: each becomes a row in a sub-table, up to five levels deep.
Typed values
Amounts with their currency, dates, percentages, durations, checkboxes and tags — ready to filter and total.
Swiss QR-bills and barcodes
QR codes and barcodes are decoded; a QR-bill's IBAN, amount and reference feed the extraction.
Conditional fields
Write a value only when a condition holds — a customs value only on imports, a discount only when one is shown.
AI reads each document, decides what it is and which table it belongs to, and pulls out the fields you care about — line items included. Every value stays linked to the spot on the page it came from and is checked against its field's rules, and Form view sets each document beside its fields for a quick review.

Frequently asked questions
Which languages does extraction handle?
Extraction isn't tied to one language: the AI reads documents in the language they're written in. Our own evaluation set is made of real Swiss business documents, mostly in French.
How accurate is it?
It depends on the document and the fields you ask for. That's why every value is linked to its source and easy to correct: checking takes seconds, not a retype.
Can I check what the AI read?
Yes. Every value links back to the spot on the page it was read from — open it to see the source highlighted.
